In the wake of the latest edition’s great success, the ultra-running event looks forward and sets the appointment for 2022, once again in late September
After the 2021 success, Adamello Ultra Trail is already planning towards 2022and its eighth edition. The ultra-running event taking place in the Pontedilegno-Tonale area retracing the paths of the Great War, in the Alta Val Camonica andAlta Val di Sole, between the Adamelloand Stelvio Nature Parks, will be held in the weekend from the 23rd to the 25th of September.
The Organizing Committee has confirmed the three popular courses:170 km (11500 m elevation gain) 90 km (6050 m elevation gain) and 35 km (1700 m elevation gain), the latter inaugurated in the 2021 edition. The format will also be the same, with the 90km intermediate route opening the event on Friday morning, followed shortly after by the start of the queen distance, while the short route participants will get off on Saturday. As in 2021, the race will assign UMBT/ITRA points (6, 5, and 2 points respectively, according to the distance).
In addition to delivering an exciting and appreciated event such as Adamello Ultra Trail, the commitment of the organization and its connection with its territory goes beyond the sports events itself and spreads to the entire area. in 2021, also thanks to the visibility of the race, a regional fund to preserve and enhance the local mountain paths and historical trails, a testament of WWI, has been created. This project will help to keep these routes cleaner and safer, improving the athletes’ experience while giving an extra boost to the tourism activities.

Now we have to look forward, keep growing and improving, and that’s why we wanted to announce the dates quickly: it’s already time to get to work to give an even better experience to our athletes in 2022.”
The registrations’ dates and procedures for Adamello Ultra Trail 2022, as well as the information on the side events, will be disclosed in the coming weeks.
