The OC: \u201cWe are heading in the right direction\u201d. Registrations still open for the 170, 100 and 35 km distances<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Introducing a <strong>new distance<\/strong> to celebrate the <strong>tenth anniversary<\/strong> and to broaden <strong>Adamello Ultra Trail<\/strong>\u2019s offer to runner of all ages and experiences. This was the vision behind the launch of the <strong>Adamello Half Trail<\/strong>: <strong>60 km and 4.000 mt of elevation gain<\/strong>, up and down the mountains of the <strong>Pontedilegno-Tonale area<\/strong> (Northern Italy). And the runners received it in the best possible way, by securing all the available bibs with still two months to go to the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The start<\/strong> of Adamello Half Trail is scheduled from the headquarters in <strong>Vezza d\u2019Oglio<\/strong> (Brescia) for <strong>Friday, September 20, at 8:00 AM<\/strong>, in between the 100 km event (7:00 AM) and the queen 170 km distance (9:00 AM). The course for these three distances follows the same path for the first 42 km, reaching breathtaking peaks and crossing <strong>tunnels, trenches and military roads dating back to<\/strong> <strong>World War I<\/strong>. Upon reaching the hamlet of Sant\u2019Apollonia, the 60 km route turns South-West and slowly rejoins the last part of the 100 km one towards the finish line, once again in Vezza d\u2019Oglio. The maximum time to complete the race is of 18 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cOur goal was to fill a gap between the 35 and the 100 km courses, and to add something new to celebrate our tenth edition. This sold-out makes us very satisfied: it is great to feel such enthusiasm from the trail running community. It means we are heading in the right direction\u201d <\/em>said <strong>Paolo Gregorini<\/strong> from <strong>Adamello Ultra Trail ASD<\/strong>, the OC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the new features for the 2024 edition, Adamello Ultra Trail has also joined the <strong>TORX eXperience<\/strong> international trail running circuit, which will award 10 finishers of the 170 km and 5 finishers of the 100 km the chance to register for the <strong>TOR330 <\/strong>Tor des Geants\u00ae 2025 without going through the lottery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/onreg.datasport.com\/en\/adamello-ultra-trail-2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Registrations for the 170, 100 and 35 km <\/span><\/strong><\/a>are still open until September 8, or when the maximum amount of athletes is reached. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With regard to the sold-out 60 km distance, on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adamelloultratrail.it\/en\/gare\/aht-60km\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"race website page\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">race website page<\/span><\/strong><\/a> it is possible to fill in the waiting list: if a spot comes available, the OC will get in touch.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With two months to go to the tenth edition, scheduled for September 20-22 in Northern Italy, all bibs for the new Adamello Half Trail (60 km and 4.000 mt elevation gain) have been booked.
