It is time to get back running in the Pontedilegno-Tonale area: Sunday, August 29th Adamello RUN will open the program of the Adamello Series. With start and finish in Piazza XXVII Settembre in Ponte di Legno (Italy) the race through the Alta Val Camonica, has been shortened by the organisation from the originally planned 30 km (600 m positive gain) to 20 km (120 m positive gain). Due to the inconvenience, the OC has also decided to lower the registration fee, now of 20 euro.
For athletes who had already registered with the 30-euro fee, the organization will refund the difference at the bibs’ collection, while there will be a full refund for those who decide to cancel their registration. A WEEKEND FULL OF EVENTS
Adamello RUN will be the core event of a weekend full of initiatives in the Pontedilegno-Tonale area. On Saturday, August 28th, at the Exhibition Village outside the Sport Palace in Ponte di Legno starting from 9.00 am, it will be possible to test technical socks and footwear on the Adamello Ultra Trail race route, thanks to main sponsor Mico Sport and technical sponsor SCARPA.
Furthermore, in collaboration with the Pro Loco, starting from 18.00 in Piazza XXVII Settembre, always in Ponte di Legno, an entertainment evening is planned for all citizens, with outdoor sport and the area of the Valle Camonica as main focus. The event, led by journalist and expert trail runner Ettore Pettinaroli, will feature guests suchs as Ausilia Vistarini, the first Italian woman to cycle the 1800 km of the Iditarod Trail in Alaska, the Regional Councillor of Lombardy Claudia Carzeri, and Emanuela Spedicato, member of the organizing committee of Adamello Ultra Trail.
On Sunday, August 29th, it will be time for the Adamello RUN, starting at 9.00 am Right after it, the Adamello SLOW (20 km walk in the charming landscapes of the Camonica Valley) will also take place.

ON THE WAY TOWARDS SEPTEMBER
Adamello RUN and Adamello SLOW will open a month of running in Alta Val Camonica, setting up the scene for the main event, Adamello Ultra Trail.
On Sunday, September 19th, starting in the early afternoon the Adamello Trail Junior will take place: an event dedicated to kids and teenagers up to 19 years old, to learn how to approach running and the mountains.
The highlight is scheduled for the following weekend, from September 24th to 26th, with the Adamello Ultra Trail. The 650 athletes athletes are ready to battle it out on the three routes designed by the organization: 170 km (11.500 m positive gain), 90 km (5.700 m positive gain) e 35 km (1700 m positive gain).
