Adamello Ultra Trail opens registrations on January 20

The ultra-running event kicks off the countdown towards its ninth edition, scheduled from September 22 to 24, 2023: three distances for all types of runners, to enjoy the beauty of the Pontedilegno-Tonale area in the Italian Alps, and a special event for kids and teenagers

Following another record-breaking edition for number of Countries involved, international riders and women’s participation, Adamello Ultra Trail is up and running again towards its ninth edition, scheduled for September 22-24 on the trails of the Great War in the Pontedilegno-Tonale area. The registrations for the new edition will be open on Friday, January 20th.

The ultra-running event winding through Alta Val Camonica and Alta Val di Sole, crossing the Adamello and Stelvio Nature Parks between Lombardy and Trentino, is traditionally held at the swap from summer to fall. Thanks to its varied paths suited for all kind of runners and enthusiasts, Adamello Ultra Trail is consolidating its growing path through the years, on the Italian scene as well as on the international one.

The organizers of A.S.D. Adamello Ultra Trail will once again offer three distances to a maximum of 850 runners (50 more than in 2022). 250 spots are available for the ultra-distance of 170 km (11.500 metres of elevation gain), 300 each for both the short route of 35 km (1.700 m elevation gain) and the medium one, whose length has been upgraded to 100 km (6.050 m elevation gain).

Those signing up before June 30th, 2023 will be able to seize the early bird fee: €180 for the long route, €90 for the intermediate one and € 40 for the short route. From July 1st, the price will rise to €200, €110 and €60 respectively.

Returning on Sunday, September 17th will be also Adamello Trail Junior, the event dedicated to kids and teenagers in Vione (one of the municipalities touched by AUT in Alta Val Camonica), with several rings of different length and difficulty, according to the age group.

POLICY AND WARRANTIES FOR REGISTERED ATHLETES

The registrations’ deadline is set for Sunday, September 3rd, or when the maximum amount of athlete is reached. Runners who decide to withdraw within of June 30th, 2023, will have an 80% refund, while the ones who will step out the race within of July 31st will get 50%.

Should the event be cancelled for organizational or health reasons, the participants will be able to choose between freezing their registration for the 2024 edition or to get an 80% refund.
